Now we are looking for the Structural Drafter (Mid–Senior Level) for one of our clients.

    A US-based residential design and engineering firm supporting home builders and house-plan platforms nationwide is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Drafter. The organization operates as a fully remote, process-driven team focused on producing high-quality construction documents at scale.

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a Senior Level Drafter to take ownership of residential architectural and structural drawing production and quality. In this role, you will operate independently, collaborate with engineers, and help elevate overall drawing standards across the team.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Independently produce complete residential architectural and structural drawing sets.

    • Draft foundations, floor framing, roof framing, sections, and structural details.

    • Implement and interpret engineer markups, notes, and design intent.

    • Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with standards.

    • Coordinate complex revisions and resolve drafting conflicts.

    Senior-Level Expectations:

    • Operate autonomously with minimal supervision once tasks are assigned.

    • Proactively identify drafting or constructability issues before production.

    • Maintain consistent adherence to company drafting standards and templates.

    • Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to junior drafters.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 5–10+ years of dedicated residential drafting experience.

    • Software: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a strong plus).

    • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood-framed residential construction.

    • Bonus Skills: Experience with CMU, ICF, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and US residential codes.

    • Skills: Strong ability to read and apply redlines, detailing, and material specifications.

    • Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
