Job description

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background in logistics to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting and reaching out to carriers, promoting our product offerings, and expanding our carrier network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to carriers to promote and sell our transportation management solutions.
  • Prospect and qualify potential carrier partners through cold calling and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and maintain accurate records of sales activities.

  • Working schedule: Mon - Fri Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm EST

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years of relevant experience in sales, particularly within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • English - Upper-intermediate or higher
  • Strong understanding of transportation logistics and industry practices.
  • Previous experience in load coverage and negotiation with carriers is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven sales experience with a successful track record in outbound sales and cold calling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of carrier operations, load management, and freight brokerage.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
