  • Forecast capacity, optimize routes/backhauls, and track KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per mile).

  • Update TMS with load statuses, BOLs, and PODs; support pricing and service-level agreements.

Brokerage Dispatching (30%):

  • Post loads to load boards, book carriers, and negotiate rates for profitable margins.

  • Track and trace loads in real-time, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance (insurance, safety ratings).

  • Communicate with shippers, receivers, and carriers to resolve delays and maintain service quality.

  • Maintain accurate TMS records and documentation (rate confirmations, PODs) for audits.

Driver Management/Dispatching (20%):

  • Serve as the go-to for company drivers (dedicated/OTR), providing trip details and real-time support.

  • Monitor ELD logs for compliance, coach drivers on performance, and address issues (breakdowns, violations).

  • Build strong driver relationships to boost retention; assist with pay, home time, and equipment needs.

  • Track driver KPIs (fuel efficiency, safety) and update TMS with trip data and documentation.

Fleet Maintenance (10%):

  • Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and DOT inspections to keep trucks compliant and reliable.

  • Schedule and document services, track costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.

  • Monitor truck performance and driver behavior via telematics; report on downtime and repair trends.

Working conditions:

  • Working schedule: Mon-Fri 6 am - 3 pm PST

  • Competitive Salary in USD
