At this point, Zelh is looking for Inside Freight Sales Representative. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the Sales Manager. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at communication, and is eager to grow within the freight and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a minimum of 50 outbound cold calls per day to prospective shippers and customers.

  • Identify and qualify potential leads for flatbed transportation services.

  • Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the Sales Manager.

  • Accurately log all activities, calls, and lead information into the company CRM system.

  • Build initial rapport with prospects and communicate client’s service offerings effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a seamless handoff of leads.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service (transportation/logistics industry experience preferred).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed daily and weekly targets.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail when logging data in CRM systems.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about the freight and logistics industry.

  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working conditions:

  • Working schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
