We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our logistics team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and building strong carrier relationships, negotiating rates, booking freight, and ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. This is a key position focused on maintaining service excellence and driving operational success for our client, a U.S.-based logistics provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrier Sourcing & Negotiation:
- Identify and build long-term partnerships with reliable carriers and owner-operators
- Negotiate competitive rates aligned with company margin goals
- Onboard carriers in line with compliance standards and vetting procedures

Freight Booking & Dispatch:
- Book loads using internal systems and confirm all details accurately
- Dispatch loads to carriers and provide necessary instructions
- Track shipments proactively, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery

Communication & Coordination:
- Maintain clear and timely communication with carriers and internal teams
- Provide shipment updates and resolve any issues that arise in transit
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service for customers

System & Documentation Management:
- Enter all relevant information into the TMS (Transportation Management System)
- Utilize tools like email, Slack, WhatsApp, and internal dashboards for coordination
- Collect and upload key documents (PODs, rate confirmations, etc.)

Compliance & Reporting:
- Follow SOPs to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
- Log shipment statuses and check-ins daily
- Uphold all compliance and quality control measures

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or dispatching in U.S. logistics

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Familiarity with TMS systems and digital communication tools

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple shipments simultaneously

Working conditions:

  • Work Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm EST/ 14:00 - 23:00 CET
