    We are looking for a proactive Carrier Sales Representative – Weekend Coverage to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be focused on proactively covering loads scheduled to pick up within the next 48 hours, with an emphasis on Saturday, Sunday, and early Monday pickups.

    This is an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships with customers and carriers, and finding solutions that keep freight moving efficiently.
    Responsibilities:

    • Prioritize and book loads picking up within the next 48 hours.

    • Focus heavily on Saturday, Sunday, and early Monday freight.

    • Proactively work the weekend board to minimize the number of uncovered loads handed off to weekend staff.

    • Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maintaining a service-first mindset.

    • Ensure critical customer freight is covered even when market conditions require booking a load at a loss.

    • Provide clean and accurate handoffs on any freight that remains uncovered.

    Job requirements

    We're looking for someone who has:

    • 1+ years of experience in U.S. logistics, freight brokerage, or carrier operations

    • Experience with load booking and carrier sourcing

    • Strong understanding of U.S. freight markets and carrier capacity

    • Experience prioritizing and covering loads based on pickup times and urgency

    • Ability to proactively manage weekend and early-Monday freight

    • Ability to make quick decisions and work effectively under time pressure

    • Strong communication and follow-up skills

    • High attention to detail when preparing load handoffs and shipment information

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple loads simultaneously

    • Willingness to support weekend operations and work a flexible schedule when required


      Working Conditions

    • Working schedule: Thursday-Sunday 6:30 am-5:30 pm
