At this point, Zelh is looking for a Carrier Sales Representative for the US brokerage company who will build relationships with carriers to book and move freight. The Carrier Sales Representative will work on securing a carrier at the right price and right time to meet the company's needs. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role that provides an opportunity to make an impact in logistics all over the nation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain carrier relationships with Carriers via phone and email

  • Build strong relationships with trucking company key contacts

  • Source/negotiate with qualified carriers to move freight through prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling

  • Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to optimize shipping costs.

  • Manage updates, communications, and movements

  • Communicate load statuses, issues, and concerns to sales team to resolve and provide Customer Service

  • Manage carrier satisfaction metrics

  • Provide exceptional service to our carriers and customers

  • Maintain the Carrier Sales CRM tool in our TMS

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly goals

Job requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination on the US market.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
