At this point, Zelh is looking for a Carrier Sales Representative for one of our clients. This role involves managing carrier relationships, negotiating freight rates, and coordinating transportation logistics—with a focus on reefer freight out of Texas, primarily for Mexico cross-border shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound Calls: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to carriers nationwide to secure capacity for freight transportation.

  2. Inbound Calls: Handle incoming calls from carriers interested in hauling freight for Arrive and provide them with necessary information.

  3. Capacity Management: Sell shipments over the phone to carriers who meet the company's strict requirements, ensuring that all loads are covered efficiently.

  4. Problem-Solving: Act as a point of contact for carriers and internal teams to resolve any issues that occur during transit, such as delays, route changes, or damages.

  5. Communication: Maintain regular communication with the customer sales team, providing them with tracking updates and keeping them informed about the status of their customers' shipments.

  6. Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and transactions related to load coverage and shipment management.

Job requirements

  • 1-2 years' proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a logistics/brokerage similar role.

  • Reefer experience is a MUST (95% of the freight is reefer out of Texas, mostly Mexico cross-border);

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email.

  • Fluent Spanish and English (both written and spoken) – required for effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients and international teams.

  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working conditions:

  • Working schedule: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm CST
