At this point, Zelh is looking for a Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Load Coverage Specialist for one of our clients.
Load Coverage Specialist will ensure that all customer shipments are covered within the company’s quality standards. This role combines customer service, data entry, and support for our “Special Projects” division. The main goal is to support our business and assist the team in maintaining smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls from Carriers and Customers daily with a friendly, professional, and can-do attitude.
Fulfill requests by accurately updating and documenting shipment statuses in internal systems.
Contact Carriers for time-sensitive information and update internal systems accordingly.
Monitor team email queue and promptly respond to requests.
Communicate issues proactively to ensure quick and effective problem resolution.
Assist with booking/tendering loads, building loads, and filling operational gaps as needed.
Follow general and account-specific SOPs to meet client requirements.
Express eagerness to expand knowledge of the transportation industry and be open to learning new processes.
Maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude, adding value to the department
Job requirements
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email.
Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with McLeod or similar transportation management systems.
1-2 years' proven experience working in a US brokerage company in a logistics-related role (Load Coverage, Carrier Sales, etc).
Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Professional communication skills in English and Spanish.
Flexible, adaptive, and willing to assist across various tasks as needed.
Working conditions:
Working schedule: Mon - Fri 07:30 am - 4:30 pm CST
