At this point, our American based client company with more than 10 years of experience in Logistics and Transportation in the USA, looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team.

You will receive proper training, and all the tools that would give you a great opportunity to learn much more about the industry, as well as a great opportunity to become a long-term member of the existing team.

Essential Duties:

  • Reviewing and verifying shipment documents daily. Ensuring all shipment paperwork is legible and matches open shipments. Tracking and tracing missing delivery paperwork.

  • Utilizing Daily Communication to obtain paperwork while maintaining lasting relationships with our carrier network.

  • Grasping key concepts of our Logistics brokerage division and approach to personal Customer Service.

  • Reports upon directive in an emergency.

  • Uploading PODs to Sylectus from E-pay manager and IVIA

  • Review Rate agreement to confirm total pay is accurate

  • Confirm no pending ASF charges need to be posted

  • Complete any other tasks assigned by management

Job requirements

  • Previous the US logistics experience;

  • Background in billing, issuing invoices or any other accounting related operations will be a PLUS

  • Spoken English Upper Intermediate/Advanced, good writing skills;

  • Fluent in basic computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Slack);

  • Communication, self-organization skills;

  • Ability to be a team player and to work independently;

  • Attention to details;

  • Ability to learn quickly.
